LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)

TEMPORARY SOUTH COMPLEX RUNWAY 25L/7R CLOSURE

August 3 – 5 2020

12:30 AM to 2:30 PM

LAX will temporarily close the south outboard runway (25L/7R) to perform several runway maintenance activities for 14 hours per day on August 3rd through August 5th from 12:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during this temporary closure as aircraft that normally land on the south outboard runway (25L/7R) will instead land on the south inboard runway (25R/7L). In addition, some aircraft operations may shift from the south to the north runway complex.

The FAA may delay commencing Over-Ocean Operations at LAX during this closure due to the limited runway availability for Aircraft Design Group VI aircraft as mentioned in the other runway 25L closure notice regarding this issue.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this circumstance.
