LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LAX)

TEMPORARY NORTH COMPLEX RUNWAY 24L/6R CLOSURES

12:30 AM – 6:30 AM

 

 

LAX will temporarily close the north inboard runway (24L/6R) on the following specific dates between 12:30 AM and 6:30 AM for maintenance. 

  • February 13 & 14, 2020 (Thursday and Friday)

Persons living near LAX may notice a change in aircraft flight activity and noise during these temporary runway closures. When the north inboard runway (24L/6R) temporarily closes during these nights, more aircraft are expected to use the north outboard runway (24R/6L) for departure and arrival operations. In addition, some aircraft operations are expected to shift from the north to the south runway complex.

 

The FAA plans to continue conducting Over-Ocean Operations at LAX during these closures between 12 AM and 6:30 AM if weather and other operational conditions permit.
